Practical training in pharmacy: single-minded and proficient in the field

The practical year is an important milestone on a student’s path from getting a degree in pharmacy to becoming a licensed pharmacist. Obviously, this profession requires much more than the theory taught at universities. We’re pleased to be able to give more than 30 young adults every year the chance to gain hands-on experience during six months at BERLIN-CHEMIE AG or Menarini GmbH.

Here at our companies, you’ll be immersed in the structures of a pharmaceutical company involved in both research and production. Exactly which area will you specialise in? The choice is yours.

You’ll also benefit from:

  • Excellent support from experienced pharmacists
  • An informational series in which specialists from our various departments will demonstrate the most important tasks in their field and discuss corresponding career paths
  • Comprehensive training on our products
  • A GMP training session tailored to the pharmaceutical industry
  • Close contact and interaction with the fellow pharmacy interns – for instance to share information about potential jobs or to simply network
  • Flexible working hours
  • An attractive stipend of 1,200 euros per month (gross)
  • An amazing location: Berlin

In addition to a master’s degree in pharmacy (or equivalent qualification), you should have excellent German and English language skills, proficiency in common Microsoft Office applications and an analytical approach to your work – plus, of course, a great deal enthusiasm for your future career.

Please apply for your six-month practical training place via our job search tool.

We offer a total of 25 fields of activity in four major departments, which we’ll present to you individually below. This should help you decide which team you’d like to join for your six-month training. If you have any questions, simply contact Diana Wiedemann on +49 30 6707-3464.
