Students and trainees: thirsty for knowledge and cleverly prepared

At BERLIN-CHEMIE AG and Menarini GmbH, we enjoy helping many young people climb their first rung on the career ladder every year. Whether you’re looking for vocational training, a sandwich course, an internship or to complete your thesis, we can offer you challenging tasks and first-rate personal mentoring. Take a look around and discover the right path for you!

We offer students not only the perfect mix of theory and practice, but also a whole host of extras, including regular meetings for sharing ideas and information relating to work and other topics. And our salaries are, of course, also always fair and in line with your role and responsibilities.

Internships

If your university suggest a compulsory internship for at least three months, gain practical experience with us. Please use our form for speculative applications to apply for your thesis. Apply your knowledge from the lecture room and experience how it works in practice. Please apply for your field of study four month ahead of the prefered starting date.

Please note that we unfortunately cannot offer internships to school pupils. Introducing and training them in our high safety standards would far exceed the accepted scope of a work experience placement for pupils. Job fairs provide another opportunity to meet with us in person. Find out where you can meet us here.

Sandwich course

A sandwich course is perfect if you want to combine on-the-job training with a university degree. We offer a sandwich course for a Bachelor of Science in Business Informatics. You’ll complete the theoretical part of this course at the Berlin School of Economics and Law and the practical part at Menarini GmbH. The course lasts three years and a salary is paid in line with the chemical industry’s collective labour agreement. For you, this means: the best possible preparation for the career you want.

The course begins on 1 October each year, and you can send your application to us as far as a year in advance. The prerequisites are good grades at Abitur or A-Level, a marked sense of responsibly and awareness, the ability to work as part of a team and passing our aptitude tests. You can also find more information in our job advertisement.

Working alongside your studies

Reinforce what you’re learning in your course with practical know-how. As a student trainee, you’ll gain the very professional experience you need to complement your course content and interests.

You’ll be fully immersed in our day-to-day business and manage your own projects. Students may work up to 20 hours per week – longer in their holidays. Simply apply for the relevant advertised position or use our form for speculative applications at least two months before your desired start date.

Your thesis

Combining your scientific thesis with a practical case study not only lends your thesis additional relevance, it also enables you to gain sound experience, which will be immensely valuable for both your academic and professional career. We offer you the opportunity to do this.

In your application, specify what you plan to write your bachelor’s, master’s or diploma thesis on and how you think this relates to the work we do. If we’re interested in your topic and it fits our profile, we’ll invite you to join us. You’ll be given a desk in our offices and access to all the information and people you’ll need to carry out your research. You won’t be involved in our day-to-day work, leaving you free to fully focus on your work for your thesis.

Please use our form for speculative applications to apply for your thesis.

Your work will, of course, be paid within the scope of a work contract – and we’ll even reward particularly good work with a bonus. Send us your application at least four months before registering your thesis with the relevant examination office. What we’ll need from you: a pertinent cover letter, your CV, your last school certificate, certificates pertaining to your academic performance to date and proof of any previous internships, vocational training or other practical experience.

And if you first need to complete a mandatory internship, you can, of course, also do this with us.

We currently have no openings for applicants wishing to complete a thesis.
